MAY 12, 2008 | The D&D Motorsports team invaded the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri from May 9-11 for the 2nd Annual 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the O'Reilly MLRA Series co-sanctioned the mega-event and a $40,000 top prize was up for grabs. The cameras of the SPEED Channel were on hand throughout the extended Mothers Day weekend to tape all of the dirt-slinging action for broadcast later in year.

Scott Drake timed in eighth fastest in his group during qualifying on Friday night, May 9. After Mother Nature took the win on Saturday, the rest of the program was shuffled back a day to Sunday, May 11. Scott finished eighth in his competitive heat race on Sunday afternoon and later ran fourteenth in his B-Main after being involved in a wreck. Unfortunately for the #12 team, those performances were not good enough to transfer Scott into the 100-lap 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals' main event. MAY 7, 2008 | After a month off from Dirt Late Model competition, Scott Drake and the #12 D&D Motorsports team are prepping for one of their biggest races of the season! The 2nd Annual 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals' will take place this upcoming weekend at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the O'Reilly MLRA Series will co-sanction the mega-event, which boasts a $40,000 top prize.

An open practice night will take place on Thursday night, May 8 prior to qualifying on Friday evening, May 9. A complete lineup of heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals' will then headline the program on Saturday, May 10. APRIL 7, 2008 | Scott Drake and the D&D Motorsports team traveled to the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on Saturday, April 5 for a $3,000 to win O'Reilly MLRA Series show. Scott started his heat race from the pole position and wound up second, which enabled him to start eleventh in the A-Main. His #12 MasterSbilt entry was too tight during the course of the feature event and Scott finished twelfth in the final rundown. MARCH 18, 2008 | Scott Drake and the D&D Motorsports team have earmarked their first three events for the 2008 racing season! The #12 team will kick-off their version of the '08 season on Saturday, April 5 in an O'Reilly MLRA Series show at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Following their season opener at Wheatland, they will travel to the state of Kansas on April 11-12 for two more MLRA-sanctioned races. The Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas will host night one of the doubleheader weekend on Friday, April 11, while the weekend finale will take place at the Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas the following evening.

The D&D Motorsports team will not follow any series exclusively in '08, but will instead pick and choose the events that they enter.
